In 1979, Sir Michael Hill and his wife Christine opened their first jewellery store with a simple yet groundbreaking vision: to make fine jewellery accessible to everybody. Over 43 Years later, Michael Hill has more than 280 stores in three countries. We remain committed to creating quality jewellery for our customers to cherish for a lifetime. A commitment to craftsmanship and quality has always been at the core of Michael Hill. Investing in our People

At Michael Hill we understand that investing in our team is vital. Through our internship and apprenticeship programs, we will grow your passion and talents in roles across our corporate and manufacturing functions, so that you can establish your career amongst some of the world's finest!

Our internship program

Michael Hill partners with Australian tertiary institutions to place interns in their final year of university placements across several Support functions, including IT, HR and Marketing, with a high success rate of these interns graduating with full time roles across Michael Hill.

Our apprenticeship program

Because craftsmanship is at the heart of our creations, Michael Hill partners with TAFE institutions to facilitate 4 year Cert IV qualifications in Jewellery Making to grow talent pipelines and bench strength across Manufacturing roles.

Michael Hill’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee is formed with a diverse representation of team members from our global workforce. The Committee is dedicated to and is passionate about elevating our Diversity and Inclusion strategy in a variety of ways, including a calendar of cultural, world and religious days to celebrate the diversity within our organisation and communities, through awareness raising and educational initiatives.
