Michael Hill Diamond Warranty

The Michael Hill Diamond Warranty is designed to give you peace of mind with your purchase. It covers the resetting of your diamond if it comes free from the setting, or replacement of your diamond if it becomes damaged or lost through normal wear.

Below are the Repairs available to you under this warranty, subject to the Exclusions.

Repairs available to you under this warranty

We will reset a loose or separated diamond, including the metal work required to reset the stone(s)
We will replace a damaged diamond with the same or better quality standard diamond, including the metal work required to secure the stone(s) in place
We will replace a lost diamond with the same or better quality standard diamond, including the metal work required to secure the stone(s) in place

During a Warranty repair service described above, we will also:

Rhodium plate your Item, if required and if your item was originally rhodium-plated
Complete basic reshaping of your ring or solid bangle, if required

Your responsibility

To activate and maintain your diamond warranty with Michael Hill, it is your responsibility to:

Provide us with your name and email address at the time of purchasing your item
Present your item every 6 months instore for a professional inspection by a Michael Hill team member
Ensure that the inspection has been recorded by us during this visit
Agree to and pay for any repair services that are recommended during your inspection that are necessary to keep your item in acceptable condition. If you have a Professional Care Plan for your item, ask a Michael Hill team member if the repair services will be covered by the Plan.
