  • How to arrange Curbside Pick-Up:

    Using Reserve In-Store

    • When shopping online, select the Reserve In-Store option and your item/s will be held for you.
    • If your selected store is currently operating on a contactless basis only, a team member will be in touch with instructions.
    • You’ll be sent a remote payment link for your item/s.
    • We’ll arrange an appointment time for you to collect your item/s and let you know where you should park.
    • Please arrive at the arranged time and call on arrival. Our staff will meet you to deliver your purchase to your car in a safe, contact-free manner.

    Using Virtual Appointments

    • Book your free Virtual Appointment as usual via our website.
    • If you would like to make a purchase, your consultant will arrange remote payment during your appointment.
    • Your purchase will be shipped to your address or can be sent direct to a that special someone.
    • If your local store is impacted by lockdown, you have an additional option to collect your item/s via contactless Curbside Pick-up. Please speak to your consultant about arranging.

    Contacting your store directly

    • You can call your nearest store directly to arrange a purchase.
    • Our team members will arrange remote payment and then organise a time for you to collect your item/s.
    • When you arrive, our staff will meet you to deliver your purchase to your car in a safe, contact-free manner.
    • Your purchase can also be shipped to you if preferred.

At Michael Hill the health and safety of our team members, customers, and community is our top priority. We’re doing the following to ensure you can visit us safely in-stores:

  • Deep cleaning our stores before opening and after closing each day
  • Checking on team members’ health prior to the start of their shifts
  • Temperature checks and asking some health questions upon entry
  • Providing hand sanitizer on arrival
  • Social distancing is implemented at all times
  • Providing face masks in areas where mask use is mandatory (and elsewhere if you would like one)
  • Providing hand sanitizer and the option of gloves before inspecting/ trying on jewellery
  • Cleaning individual sales stations and jewellery after every interaction.

  • Can I still place an order online?

    You sure can! Website orders are still operating as usual. Due to delays in our international supply chain, it may take longer than usual to dispatch your order. We are doing our best to get your product to you as soon as possible.

    Our Total Love Guarantee is in place as always, and you are still able to return your products in line with our 30 day change of mind policy. You can find out more about returns and the process here.

  • How can I have my diamonds inspected as per the Lifetime Diamond Warranty?

    Do you have a diamond which is covered by the Michael Hill Lifetime Diamond Warranty, and your 6-monthly diamond inspection is due between the date your store closed and the date it reopens?

    We are offering an extension of 3 months to have your diamond inspected, from the date your store reopens.

    Your Lifetime Diamond Warranty will continue to be valid, provided you have the diamond inspection done within that 3 month period (and otherwise comply with the standard terms and conditions of the Lifetime Diamond Warranty, which are available here).

  • How can I make a return or get a refund?

    For online purchases made in Canada between 7th April 2021 and the date your local store reopens, we will extend these return times to 30 days from your closest store reopening.

  • I can't see live chat on the website?

    You will see the live chat icon in the bottom right of your screen. However, this will not appear if there are no customer service representatives available. If this is the case, please contact our team and we will get back to you as soon as possible

  • Cleaning your jewellery

    With increased cleaning occurring, keep in mind that this can take a toll on your jewellery pieces. Hand sanitisers and soaps will not hurt hard gemstones, such as diamonds, or damage their qualities, though softer gemstones, such as pearls, can be damaged from these chemicals. Repeated exposure to sanitisers and cleaning agents can make white gold wear faster than it usually would.

    To keep your pieces looking their best and avoid any potential future issues, Michael Hill recommends you remove your jewellery when possible when washing your hands, with hand sanitisers in particular.
